Yeah that'd be the spot I'm talking about, It would have to go over the lip of the lower door cubby and would probably have to be more of a tension fit rather than just 3m. Though that'd probably just cause more scratching anyway or increase manufacturing costs too much to be worth it.

I do like mine though. Ended up using the adjustment knobs on the center clamps and then removed it to be able to use the cargo rail. Also removed the RC badge but that is something I do with most things and its just foam taped on anyhow. There was also a good idea I saw in an install video that...
It isn't too hard to run a cable along the headliner down to the fuse box with I believe a micro 3 fuse. But a dash cam is a great idea, even better if you have a dual cam with a view out the back.
Didn't even consider the watermark, but the dual 3rd breaklight and the roof blending into the spoiler into half of a sport bar on the left. And all the emblems being a blurred mess straight from a dream.
