I have seen 3 in the wild. The first one I saw was the day the person picked it up from the dealer, same day I placed my order. Only 2 others seen.

And I contend that while there are outstanding customer order of 12 months plus... no dealer should have stock.

No worries. It is incredibly frustrating, but I am genuinely happy you are getting yours. I even have a back and forth going with a FoMoCo representative about this very thing. Good fodder!

Yeah, the reservation thing is long gone. Once converted to an order, it’s just like any other order. Dealers are pretty much fifo, but Ford is not.

Have any of you seen a Maverick commercial on any of the broadcast or cable tv channels? I have not seen one. All I knew of the maverick prior to ordering was from news articles/press releases/youtube. Curious if it's just the market that I live in or if there just hasn't been a media barrage...

I would say this is incorrect. Each Dealer has a line. When it comes to a particular dealer, Ford may pass up #1 in line to produce #2 in line based upon parts availability.
