First thing to do is eliminate Ford Pass app off your phone. It won't cure the problem, but it helps a lot.

I have found that cruise control actually helps my mileage. At least for my trip to work. It is a mix of highway and in-town. I am running at an average of 42.2 mpg right now. That is over the total 2700 miles I have put on the truck. I don't think that's bad at all.
