You can't knock all small dealers. Mine got my XLT hybrid and my brothers ecoboost AWD with towing delivered within the normal 12 to 15 months that everyone else is getting. They also managed to deliver my nephews 2-door bronco with hard top as well as many other Mavericks.
I'm not exactly sure what they did. The best I could understand is that they loaded an update into my system, but I got the impression they weren't sure it would work. Since they did what they did, it has worked like it is supposed to. I have not had any deep sleep problems and I am now using my...
Have you checked the caulking along the seam up under the dash. You will have to move the mat back out of the way to see it. If it is damaged it will leak at these seams. Had a ranger do this and used silicone to seal and water stopped getting in. Just a thought.
I asked them what they did, but I'm not real clear what it was. I think they did a software update that was out there, and I'm not sure if they thought it would work, but the weak battery issue seems to be completely gone. I am using my ford pass app and before I had to delete it so my car would...
I originally wanted the spray-in liner, but after seeing the modular drop-in in my brothers truck I changed my mind. I think it looks great, and it's very tough.
At 780 miles the DC/DC Converter took a header and left me stranded on the side of I-71 in Louisville. Then a deep sleep problem until about 3900 miles. The dealer and some Ford technicians did a brainstorm session on the deep sleep and so far it has been perfect. I'm now at about 5000 miles...
I was driving a 2012 ford focus and a 1997 ford ranger. I am still driving the focus (I decided to keep it) and traded my ranger I had for 18 years to my brother for a metal carport he had so I can keep my new maverick under it to keep the tree crud from getting all over it. I don't need 2...
I have a 2012 focus hatchback with 163000 miles and, except for the crappy power shift transmission (which was warranted) all that I've had repaired was an oxygen sensor and I put it on myself. Overall it is still a great car.
I was doing about 45 mph. It was on a country road and the beast shot out of the woods on the side of the road into the side of my truck. I didn’t stand a chance. Insurance paid.
Ordered 6 days before you and tool delivery on 1/26/23. You're going to love it. If you never drove a hybrid before the new noises you have never experienced will make you wonder, but no worry, they are normal. Unbelievable mileage with plenty of power. Enjoy the new world you have entered.
Do you have a picture of how you installed this spring. I have been thinking about doing this. This is how some of my older cars used to raise the hood after the first hood release so
you could reach the final latch. (Posted this before your last post)
It is just the differing driving styles that explain the differences between vehicles. I got 23+ mpg in my 97 ranger for years and after selling it to my brother, he can't manage more than 21 mpg.
Did you delete the ford pass app from your phone. That seems to have made mine go much longer between deep sleep modes. And I haven't had another no start since. I turned off all communication between the truck and my phone then deleted the app. I have suspected that the modem may be playing a...
I’ve been going through this since my truck was at 780 miles. I’m at 3200 now. The problem has improved greatly since I deleted ford pass and turned off all communication and auto updates. The dealer can find no power draw but the battery keeps slowly draining. I personally think it is a bad...
