And if you think the Maverick is in any way "low to the floor" drive one of those old compact Ranger/S10s. By ditching the frame for a unibody with deeper floor the Maverick is already much more upright seating.
Judging by the dangling RCAs it looks like it's one of the jank units that gets posted on the subReddit about weekly. Just a generic Chinese Android Auto screen that doesn't even integrate with the vehicle systems like the backup camera.

The stock badge is attached via nuts. Even forgoing those it's possible the plastichrome could interfere with the radar since it's typically still metal vacuum-sputtered onto the plastic.
A basic OBDII scanner might only pull the OBDII spec codes, maybe ABS and Transmission; or into the manufacturer-defined PCM range. I wouldn't take for granted being able to access codes in stuff like the IPMA with any detail.
