I like the aawireless dongle because you can disable the auto connect with the companion app. This feature makes it so the dongle only connects to your phone when you start the truck instead of it connecting each time you open the door.
Garage fit was a big selling point for me. It's been well over a year since Maev arrived so I've been accessorized out for awhile now.
In addition to the initial stuff I bought, I've since added a smartliner all weather mats, powered sub, paint matched door molding, swapped out the door and...
I had 30% done in the front, and 30% on top of the factory tinted rears.
Also did the entire windshield, but I forget the percentage. It wasn't too much where it would be noticeable by the lawman, but definitely helped with the heat.
Thank you for the suggestion. I park my truck in the garage though. I'm going to continue to monitor if the battery swap is the solution. So far so good.
9 weeks since battery swap with 1 incident.
Went out of town for a week long work trip. Came home and encountered the tell tale sign of no interior lights. Drove the truck for some errands and all seems well again.
I was suppose to get a call when the airbags came in. I don't understand why I had to make an appt only for them to tell me that. I've been waiting since Feb. I don't plan on calling them for a follow up until it's time to make an appt for the under hood fire recall.
As nice as the new tacos are, they aren't in my price range nor do they fit my needs. The maverick's size, affordability, fuel efficiency etc... were the selling points. I fall into the category of those who never even knew they needed a truck. For now, I'll hold onto it and see where this...
Took my truck in back in February to have the air bag recall and software update done. Was told they did the software update but air bag part needed to be ordered and they would call me to set an appt once the part came in. Welp. I'm still waiting. I even took it in 2 weeks ago for an oil...
Different type of material from your standard window tint film. Blocks out more UV rays. It can be done as a DIY project but I choose to have the pros do it. I think i had all my windows and windshield done for around $300ish
