That looks great, now how about doing the opposite in rear especially for the fwd/hybrid models.

I assume an alignment is also needed after install?

"Doesn't alter factory geometry" I wonder if the front axles will agree. It's nice to see other options though, since most people go with RC

So,
When did ‘Rake’ become undesirable ?

Mine levels out perfectly when
I put about 500-600 pounds in the bed.

So, if I leveled mine and put 500-600 pounds in the back it would be squatted like it was at max load or somewhat overloaded.
That would be really bad if I put a thousand lbs in the back.
Plus if I raised the front end wouldn’t my gas mileage suffer ?

I don’t see how a leveling kit would affect gas mileage at all, all it’s doing is raising the front end a inch or so to match the rear, you aren’t adding any weight to the vehicle. People do this because it looks better, if somebody put a poll up I’d be willing to guess the majority would say it looks better without “rake”.

But yea if you level it and add weight to the rear it would then make the rear lower than the front, but unless you are towing daily and ride around with that kinda weight in the back then you’d never notice it other than when you tow, or have things in the bed.

This is my ADHD brain speculating.

Raise it in the front an inch, more air is forced under the vehicle where the aerodynamics are far worse than the smoother topside ?
Plus increasing the gap around the front tire would obviously increase drag.

As for looks better, back in the day rake was a special kind of Badassery.

To me in my not so humble opinion.
Low and level looks fast and screams performance handling.
Stock height and level would not be noticed by most.
Especially in a truck, most would think nothing of it or at best assume you got something with some weight to it in the bed.

But that’s just me, and
I’m not right, In the head.
:’P

The product looks reasonably priced, easy to install and IF an alignment is needed that’s usually less than a C-note.

I get what you’re saying, the “rake” is going to be subjective obviously but in my years of driving and having various cars the majority or people think any vehicle looks better leveled. Again I get it’s subjective and I’m sure people don’t mind it not being leveled and that’s fine. Anything that’s cosmetic is going to be personal preference.

As far as the gas mileage, if it does hurt it I can’t see it being any noticeable. But again that’s just my opinion

I'm first in line for this, seems like it would be easy and would not affect the cv axles at all.

But then I'm not looking down on the vehicle in front of me, I'm looking straight at them.

(Besides, I have a hybrid)

Would you make something to just lower the rear? And keep the front stock? For hybrids?
