  1. I don't think this will buff out :) But my wife and I are both fine

When we picked up our Maverick, the sales rep asked if we wanted to have the lane assistance on. I said no. But turning it back on a 2025 Mav is pushing the button on the end of the turn signal arm. But OP was in his own lane. Regardless, I'm very grateful that OP and wife are okay. I'd...
  2. Maintenance Reminder Message for Oil Change

I am 1,100 miles away from needing my first oil change on my 2025 Maverick XLT, and am now getting a "Change engine oil soon" nag notice every time I start up the Mav. Pressing OK on the steering wheel does not clear the message permanently, and I don't want to reset the oil life just to get...
  3. Weirdness

    So wisdom.
  4. Weirdness

When my husband and I were teaching our son to drive, his sense of self-preservation was lacking (ours was fully intact). I discussed it with my husband and we agreed that the only responsible thing to do was have the kid learn the bus schedule. Maybe the engineer/s was influenced by teenagers...
  5. Weirdness

Was it the broken leg that made you hang up your movie-chase tendencies?😜
  6. 2025 Hybrid AWD on Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail AT 245/65/17 tires with 2" inch Eibach springs lift kit

Looks very nice! I have an XLT in the same color. With the tire and lift changes, have you noticed if it handles okay when cornering?
  7. Steeda lowering springs installed on FWD Hybrid

When we bought the Maverick, we were considering some of the camping trips we've taken where in addition to the AWD having more ground clearance was definitely something we were interested in. As for shorter people, I am 5'1/2" (yes, I claim that 1/2" ) and in bare feet can sit on...
  8. Steeda lowering springs installed on FWD Hybrid

I'm assuming that it is to improve handling?
  9. Steeda lowering springs installed on FWD Hybrid

By how much was the clearance reduced?
  10. High temps mean high MPG

I would get a TPMS tire icon on my Civic. It was annoying after adjusting the pressure, I would have to reset the idiot light. If it's telling me I have a low tire how come it can't tell when the inflation has been corrected? Sheesh!
  11. High temps mean high MPG

Awww. You have gauges. (Yes, I know they're not really analog but I can pretend, can't I =P )

  13. Maverick Hybrid as Booster Vehicle?

All this reminds me of Back to the Future and a Flux Capacitor. Then I could go back in time and remember to turn off the Civic's accessory mode and still have a charged battery. BTW, Amazon realized that I was looking for super capacitor when I cut and pasted in superconductor. :sunglasses:
  14. Maverick Hybrid as Booster Vehicle?

I agree that each vehicle should have a jump box. A 4000A would let me charge my Maverick's big brother, F350, (jump start up to 10L engines, gas or diesel). 😁
