Without starting a new thread for you guys who have the 25 in hand I noticed aft of the shifter/parking brake there are now only 2 buttons vice my old 4. Can you confirm what they do?
As stated in a previous post, the "left one' is "Traction Control"...
The "right one" looks like a "Blank", just a (placeholder) piece of plastic. Since, this is a "XL" review...
It may have a function on a XLT or Lariat model.
But, with ALL of the controls, going "Digital"...

The big question is on (EB) Lariat where/if did they move the switch to deactivate the auto start/stop?
On all my old Mavericks it's the only switch I used all the time. 🙂

To help answer your question, I went on Ford's online configurator and speced an Ecoboost Lariat and clicked on the 360 degree interior view. I discovered the auto start/stop button will be located next to the traction control off button. Pretty much the same location as before but will be the very right button as oppose to very left from before. The two bottom buttons have been removed and a credit card slot has taken its place.

Question for those with the 2025 mavericks. I see the 2024 model has a "display off physical button" under the screen, does the 25 model have it? I see a square with a play icon looking thing, wonder if thats the new display off. I ask, because I have nasik, and I like to have displays off at night.
-- also, do the screen and dash gauge cluster dim to a really low dimness?

Sorry, I'm not sure where you are talking about.

Can you grab a photo and edit it with a circle to show, or take a pic yourself if you own one to show where? Once I know where, I'll gladly take a photo of it there.
RE: Did Ford caulk the seam in the bed = here is a photo of the area I am asking about. Both sides of the floor of the bed where the fenders and vertical bed meets the floor. I did one pass of 3M auto grade caulk, I should clean the area and give it a second layer. It is obvious, perhaps it doesn't show in the photo, that the material was sucked into the seam, therefore a second coat. I judged the gap to be too small to justify backer material.

I'm surprised there's not more post about 25s being delivered. Just one so far.
Mine is supposed to be delivered next week. We'll be out of town for the New Year but should pick it up beginning of January.

Having the right tires really helps! Wife has AWD, when new had All-Season tires, not that good in Northern Michigan. She put on some Blizzaks and what a difference it made at stopping, and then starting from a dead stop.
This is true. I have snow tires and it helps tremendously.

I did the same thing and was hard to id the icon (old eyes) so thought I better ask. Thanks for the conformation.

Kinda love it, but I still have to push a button? Come on Ford!
almost all new cars have this, as required for their certification. My 2024 Chevy doesnt have this, but it’s a $3,000 line item on the window sticker, is not having to push the button worth $3,000 to you? I would say 99.999% of Maverick buyers would choose to press the button.

I have been driving my Scion tc 13 years, can’t wait for push start. The key fob touching my leg periodically bothers me
