I read that local credit unions nearly require you, or insist you bank with them. I had Ford Credit last time. I have qualified with them, but won't give me a rate. My bank won't give me a rate until I get the truck. Wish I had that much power.

Try Alliant for preapproval. I think they are at 5.75% with good credit.

Hard to believe Ford credit isn't offering some type of incentive for financing. My CU is at 4.09% for 60 months when I checked last . (Navy Federal)

Not sure how they derived the original estimated delivery dates, but mine have been updated to a couple of weeks later than it was.

Updated again, getting closer.

Same thing happened with me. Estimated delivery moved up from 1/9-1/15 to 1/4-1/10.
