Looks like Canada will still get 250hp!

Will be interesting to see if all the US will have the filter or if it will be state by state.

I had heard that the 238 horsepower rating was because of the new emission standards however, its only for the cars in California and the 2025 Mavericks have the same 250HP rating as the previous models, they just can't print both ratings so they went with the lower one.

21 states (California Emissions) will have the filter. The rest of the states will not have it.

Good evening Tim, do dealers have access to the vehicle build sheets now that new Mavericks are being built and shipped? I’m curious because following your comments in Maverick Monday Ep.38, I asked my S.C. dealer if they could confirm that my Maverick would NOT have a GPF since S.C. does NOT follow the California emission guidelines. Their response was they wouldn’t know until the truck arrived for them to perform an inspection. I find that hard to believe, is it true? Thanks!

We can see the window stickers and probably locate the oasis on them to see that the filter was not put on. If you are not in a California emission state then you will not have the filter put on and should see 250hp performance.
