Great ideas and excellent video. Do you have more step by step of what, you need to by, tools and the 1:1 steps to execute each of these great lighting ideas? I'm a IdahoMaverickMom (more a Nana) and not afraid of giving this a try! Love to see more ideas. I had to reorder since my dealer trade fell through so now I have 5-8...or more weeks until I receive my final new truck ever.Didn’t plan to post a video but it may give some members ideas on what you can do with your Mavericks so here it goes. Hands down the easiest vehicle I’ve had in regards to pulling panels, figuring out how it was assembled so items don’t get broke, screws easily assessable, getting wires run, etc. You’ll apparently have to clip the top right icon to get to the video in google drive as it doesn’t play within the forum.
Picked it up from Steve Link Ford in Grinnell, Iowa which were great to work with. Now to load the bikes and hit the trails as it’s a beautiful day in Iowa.

Tell me more about the rear view mirror please.
Sorry to hear about your dealer trade issue.Great ideas and excellent video. I'm an hour old lady but if I can read a schematic, build dusk drives and printers iSorry to hear about your dealer trade issue.I didn’t do any step by step though as I wasn’t planning to do the video. I would caution on the lighting stuff if you haven’t done it before as you can definitely mess stuff up quick. Bed lights can be easily done by using the electric whip that they provide and using the dedicated line behind the bed port. Won’t go off the oem light button though. The cubby power ports require you to take the under vehicle trays apart and the wheel well. If you’re up to that I posted the items I used in this thread. Pretty easy and will go to great use for me.
Yes, it could be tricky, but I figure if I can read a schematic, build boards, disk drives and printers since I'm in R&D in the "real world" .. I could give it a try starting with the easy stuff! Whoa, how much did that all cost? It looks fantastic. Great job BUT I'd have to get it done as I have NO mechanical skills.Didn’t plan to post a video but it may give some members ideas on what you can do with your Mavericks so here it goes. Less than you would think. Roughly $300 bed cover, $180 mirror, $340 vault, $20 power sockets in the bed cubby, $30 led strips for bed with wire, $20 power buttons, and $10 blue lights.Whoa, how much did that all cost? May I ask how you ran the wires for the LED strips for the side opposite of the bed lighting switch?Didn’t plan to post a video but it may give some members ideas on what you can do with your Mavericks so here it goes. Once you pull the driver side bed panel it’s completely open to the ground so fishing a wire down, over, and back up the passenger cubby is a breeze. The passenger cubby does have a bottom dust panel that must be removed for access to feed the power wire to the top but besides that there’s really no obstacles. I also followed the existing Ford wire runs and zip tied my power wire to theirs so I didn’t have any wires hanging down.May I ask how you ran the wires for the LED strips for the side opposite of the bed lighting switch?
