2023 to 2024 rollover protection rebate issue

Well after 2 years of waiting I finally have my Maverick tremor. Very much enjoying it at a week right now. Only sour point is is that the dealership claimed that Ford canceled the rollover protection rebate. Can't find anything online about this called the marketing department and they told me that the dealership is full of it. Any advice on how to handle this. It's honestly more of a principle thing because they lied straight to my face

My 23 Mav was also rolled over to a 24. I showed them the print out from Ford and if they did not honor it, it would be a deal breaker. Sales rep spoke to the sales manager and showed him the printout with the roll over code. The sales doc shows the $3400 as a rebate.
Since you took delivery, I'm not sure of your options. Others on this forum probably would know of one.

The dealer can apply for the rebate and have it sent to you as check from Ford. Worked 42 years at Ford dealer. I hate to say this , but tell me they didn’t get a copy of your rebate certificate as they might be trying to swallow it. There should be a phone # on your certificate call and make sure it hasn’t been applied for. If it has the dealer has committed fraud with Ford Motor Co.

The dealership has been sold and rebranded twice since I placed the order. So who knows. I talked to a manager today that was dealing with two other maverick orders with the same issue. So I'm thinking at some point something was not done by the book or lost in translation and now it's coming out.

Hopefully something good comes out of this. They are having to file a payment request with Corp for my down payment to be refunded because they could not find proof of it in the "new" system.
