If you move to Texas you have 30 days to register your vehicle. Also you should notify your insurance company of your county of residence as your premium is calculated based on where you vehicle is garaged (or mostly parked in). I suspect most states have similar requirements.

Texas has no tint law for the rear window.
In fact no state has one for the back window. Panel vans vans would be illegal if that were the case, nor would it be legal for what you are chosing.

I can understand if you do not want to tint, but to flat out lie when asked is bs. Just say you want to spend more money.

Yes I do. Most states have a 30 or 60 day law when it involves moving to a new state. Also some states have required me to provide a proof of residence in the registered state which I don't have anymore. Sadly not all states require the same things or have the same laws. I've got use to it. But I appreciate all the ideas this forum has provided so thank you.
