September 9th build date of my 2024 XL Hybrid

Received e-mail from Ford dealer yesterday and called this afternoon. My year wait (9/23 order date) is almost over. Looks like I will be getting a 2024 and not 2025 Maverick.

I thought by September Ford would be making the 2025 Maverick model … happy to get the 2024. Most likely the last 2024 off the assembly line.

Could be, usually the transition is end of September/early October. I know some people were still getting MY23s order last year after people started getting their MY24 orders.

hearing Ford is building 2024's thru the end of October. 2025 builds should start around Mid November. Thought I would be getting a 2025 till yesterdays text with my build date. My build date is the week of Sept 2nd... Ordered latter part of August 2023.

Granted order was late May '24 here.
