I didn’t really buy my Maverick to tow or haul. I‘ve never towed, even with the 2007 Ranger I had, at one time. The only thing I’ve ever had in the back other than personal stuff was 200lbs of sand bags for traction in winter. So I added this.
A BEDRUG XLT.
I do have a tail gate hole plug, but this covers the gap between the bed and tailgate.

I absolutely love my bedrug. Possibly the best accessory I have added so far....Soooo easy on the knees!

Bought the same bedrug. Like you said, its easy on the knees. I use a tarp if I have to carry anything in the bed. It's easy clean up.

I live in Florida and worried about getting a bedrug because of the daily rain in the summer. Curious to hear how well it dries under that kind of weather.

Fortunately I am 6 ft tall and arms long enough to reach all areas of the bed from the sides . I do have modified ford ranger dibl to protect the bed surface .

I have the full bed rug which covers the sides also. Love it. I regularly carry metal objects with sharp edges. It’s held up extremely well after one year. The metal that I am carrying is also painted and it does not scratch the paint like a spray in would. I have a soft roll up cover so I do get some leakage. Or I have to carry stuff that I have to keep the cover rolled up with, so it does get wet from time to time. Driving for about 20 minutes with the cover rolled up on a sunny day is all it takes to dry it out. I have hauled mulch with it and it vacuumed up nicely. It does take a little work and I used a vacuum at a car wash not my household one. If I needed to haul something like that again it’s just easier to through down a tarp.
it is definatley easy on the knees. I have bad knees and can kneel on it with no problem at all. One time my son was running in an over night trail race and I was able to take a nap on it. Not something I would have tried with a spray in.
Things do not slide around on their own but if you need to push things around manually they move easy enough. Will it hold up to wear and tear as well as a spray in? Probably not. But for most things a Maverick owner will do with their bed it should hold up. Probably my favorite mod so far.

I would’ve really loved a full Bedrug, but it’s not my budget.
