FordPass Rewards from used Maverick purchase?

Does anyone know when purchasing a used Maverick if you're entitled to any Ford Pass Rewards/points? I purchased mine from a Chevy dealership

No. It has to be new and from a Ford dealer. You can earn points if you take it to a Ford dealer for service.

So I actually called Ford rewards and found out that as long as the vehicle is purchased from a dealership that certifies used vehicles then, they can provision rewards points
