Hey y’all,

2 weeks into having my Tremor I took it off-roading! Had a great time, although the park was a little advanced for the low ground clearance, plus the rain washed out a good bit of the trails. Here’s some pictures and videos

I unfortunately did bottom out and scraped off a good bit of my undercarriage “protection.” Has anyone installed these on their truck?

thanks for sharing!
People probably don't need reminding that the trails always are rougher/steeper than the video captures.

Wow. The fuzzy cardboard didn't hold up to being dragged across the ground? Ford used their finest paper and plastic products in it's creation and would likely be shocked at it's lack of durability. Those steel skids look pretty awesome.

Turns out the skid plates in the original post do, in fact, work on the tremor. Will probably be picking up in the middle of next month.

Very cool. I have family 10 minutes away from that park and have driven right by it on 281 a hundred times... never knew it was there.

In some of the pics I was thinking "these Tremor wheels look GREAT!" It was just that the orange accent spoke (that I really dislike) was dirty and/or in shadows. :D

There are posts from people who have gotten these skid plates so they should work.

Will you get the JCR rock sliders too?
More than likely. I think with those, the skid plates, and a small lift, I can tackle a good amount of the easier trails

I have all of the JCR Off Road skid plates on order. The last of them arrive tomorrow and they will be installed on May 6. I will try to post pictures of everything while the truck is on the lift at the installers.

My Maverick is an AWD non-Tremor non-FX4 with the Rough Country 2-inch strut lift kit and 17-inch wheels with 245/70-17 tires.

I am not sure how much off-road driving I will do living in Southern California. Yet, it should be capable of most light trails as needed. I have a 1996 Land Rover Discovery for the more serious off-road adventures and camping.

PS. I have had to wait six weeks for everything to arrive at my house. The front plate arrived fourteen days after placing the order, the gas tank plate arrived twenty-two days after placing the order, and the side skid plates will arrive tomorrow - forty-two days after placing the order.
The lead time to get into the installer is three to five weeks. Thus, I had to reschedule them twice.

I’d love to see pictures! How long did the order take?

I just edited my post with details. I ordered on March 13 and will receive the last of three items tomorrow.

The installer's lead time is 3 to 5 weeks. I have rescheduled twice and now have an appointment on May 6.
