Hi there,

I finally after almost a year (like most orders) got a call from the dealer I ordered through that my 23MY Tremor was in the process of transit. However, by now I was hoping it would be a 24MY being such that it would loose value being a ‘23. My question is, since the Avalanche Gray color was discontinued in 24MY does this keep the rarity in exclusivity and color keep the value the same or even more than a 24MY Terrain color?

Thanks.

I suppose it makes it more rare (I have 23' Avalanche Gray Tremor) for Mavericks but Ford has used it in other trucks and vehicles.

You should do what is best for you but if you wait for a MY24 vs. your MY23 you'll end up paying quite a bit more for less truck.

If I were you - I would be ecstatic that I could still get a MY23 at MY23 pricing.

What he said. I picked up an AG Tremor with a build date of 10/23 this past Monday. Dealer received it mid-December. Can't believe it lasted that long on the lot, but it gave me a little leverage for an end of the month sale for January. There is a noticeable increase in price for the Tremor package for 2024. You haven't even purchased truck yet and you are concerned about selling it. While these may have a small cult following, I don't see these ever becoming a collector's item. Buy what makes you happy. I was tickled to get mine. Plan on driving it until the wheels fall off.

Neither of those colors will make it any more valuable. Now if you said HPR or Alto Blue, maybe...

I appreciate the answers/feedback. After talking with the dealer that had a 24MY Terrain on the lot he said it had gotten selected for an Auto Show and won’t be available till March. I suppose this gives me the answer that I’ll stick with my original order of AG Tremor that I ordered. Yes, this will be a vehicle I have for 5-10+ years. Cheers.

Lost patience of waiting a year+ on the original order, ended up picking up a Cactus Gray Tremor. It’s been a great week!

Avalanche would have gotten my vote. Terrain looks like old smoker's teeth and cactus is so common, I'd like something that will stand out a little more.

Done is done. Agreed with the Terrain color another dealer also had one on their lot. I instantly scoffed at the Terrain color. I would like to see a AG in person someday, in due time.

We were not that impressed with the terrain color. We got the orange tremor and we think it’s got great visibility which is good for us in snow/fog.
Also a reminder for us not to accidentally speed since it’s easy to spot lol

I also got hot pepper red. It's going to be a big adjustment, going from a Carbonized grey Fiesta that just disappears in traffic to a sparkly red truck. But after all the vehicles I've owned, I've never owned a red car so it was time.

If only a few of a color is made but no one wants it that will not help your price.
For other cars, the bright colors bring the price up. Not many people buy a bright orange car new but there is a lot more demand in the used market. People who buy new cars are more conservative I guess?
