Any issue with the trash can fitting over Tuxmat floor mat? That was an issue with the Muslogy trash can as it would not stay in the keyed holder.

Interested, but waiting on both. Regular price is a little high for me, especially without a standard bag liner size.

We don't test it on a Tuxmat floor mat.

Can confirm it will not stay in place with the TuxMats. Had to return mine shortly after purchasing unfortunately.

Thank you. Found that fit issue over Tuxmat floor mats looking at one star ratings on amazon.com. Very disappointing that Mabett does not point out that fit issue in their product description. Will be very cautious about purchasing Mabett items for the Maverick.

Eh I remember seeing something about them working with the OEM Ford mats. The TuxMats are obviously a bit thicker and are aftermarket. Not really on them to test that imo. I know I've definitely made a post or two about it not fitting with my tuxmats so the info is out there.

I ended up cutting my tuxmats in 1/2 to make the trash can work....

Yikes lol. I considered slicing off the FITS part on the trash can and just screwing in a 3D printed one at the proper height. Would much rather "ruin" a $30 piece of plastic over some $200 floor mats lol. For now the slot will remain empty. Haven't seen anything that I like other than the Mabett trash can unfortunately.

Yeah I let my intrusive thoughts win that day lol. At least they go in and out easier without having to wrestle them to wash so I guess that's a small bonus.

I found this idea on an old thread and am going in this direction. Combine this trash can with a FITS fixture from ETSY and it all works. It’s smaller in height to fit over Tuxmat and I don’t care about the beverage holder,

I love the Mabett trash can/cup holder, but ran into the same problem that others have with it not fitting over rear floor mats. I've used the trash can for a couple of months now without new floor mats, but I bought some non-Mabett mats during the Amazon Prime event. I really like them, but now my trash can/cup holder doesn't work because it hits the mats and won't settle into the fits slot. I wish Mabett would make the Fits mount portion adjustable (a simple slot/screw from the inside would work, or make the trash can a fraction of an inch shorter!

guys, this is a thread in the vendor support forum which Mabett paid MTC to the be able to have.

it's not very fair post links and images in this specific thread about alternatives. we have all of the rest of MTC to be able to have those types of discussions.
