I installed my mabett fender flairs today , they worked well with my mud flaps . I think maybe I’m done with all my accessories 🤪, I’m glad I did my DD fog lights before I installed the fender flairs, front flairs would have to be removed to get the front off to do the fog lights. Before and after pictures .

Just received mine today and installing on Thurs. Lots of existing threads taking about some modest sanding and using silicon glue. Was that the case for you? Any new learnings to share? Thanks.

I installed my mud flaps about a year ago so the flairs were installed second . I didn’t have to remove my mud flaps just the two top clips in the rear ones and the two top bolts in the front . The Mabett flairs slide in behind the mud flaps easily.

No I didn’t have to sand or use any silicon on the flairs, the fit was great nice and snug all around the flairs

Yea I've been checking every now and again. Not really that interested in them but if they had them in stock often enough I might actually consider it.

I traded two vehicles for one so I could afford to build a nice shop to keep my crap out of the elements here in MT.

I was lucky enough to get a set. Do you recommend any paint protection?

I really don’t see a need for it since they have the 3m tape

I installed the Ford mud flaps with my Mabett fender flares. Your installation order should be Fog lights, fender flares and then mud flaps to make it simplier to install. I have mud flaps on and had to remove to install fender flares. I added some extra 3m tape to my fender flares but I doubt it really touched to truck surface. I still need to go back and fill in some spaces between the fender flares and the truck body. I used black silicon but at first try but removed it. I will use the RIGHT STUFF this time since there is nothing better out there for holding tight and lasting. The fender flares will leave some small spaces between the body and flare after a while so hopefully the Right Stuff will put and end to it. Ford OEM flares work with fender flares but I have to slightly oval shape the holes due to the flare thickness. The included Mabett push pins did NOT fit correctly without modifications - reuse the old ones if you can and keep track of where each came from. Good luck. I was going to use PPF but the area is rounded so that doesn't work out well. Still waiting for Mabett side markers.

What brand mudflaps?
These are the ford mud flaps , I did have a problem with the hood deflector where the 3m tape buckled from the heat ,so it’s possible the flairs could do the same . With a dark color vehicle and the flairs being dark it blends well but with a light color it may show the uneven edges . Like gp1200x said the install would be fogs lights first than fender flairs last would be mud flaps , but like I said before I had no problem with my mud flaps in place before the fender flairs were installed.
