Agreed. I don't care for the slim tire look on any truck. Looks a bit too "delicate".17s look better
better ride, cheaper tires too
rubber bands are just a horrible look and don't provide any real world benefits, IMO

Just need someone to slap some racing slicks on one of these puppies. Bet it would look pretty dang good.Agreed. I don't care for the slim tire look on any truck. Looks a bit too "delicate".
I suppose it depends on one's purpose in buying the truck. My considerations were gas savings, hauling stuff, driver conveniences, and ability to flat tow. Others, of course, have different reasons and that's what makes the Maverick so unique . . . flexibility.Just need someone to slap some racing slicks on one of these puppies. Picked up a set of Vossen 20” rims & sprayed them Area-51. How do they look? I need a bit more rubber on them- maybe 245/45r20s…..

Sweet Mav. Are those 245/45r20s? They look niceLove the color and 20"s, I have 20"s as well

That looks pretty cool. I would have loved that when I was 20 yo.IMO the color match looks good, just that wheel gap needs to be filled, if you like the rubber band tires go to a 22 on 40’s, and drop it down 1”, paint your calipers flat black. Heres a little photoshop.![]()
Its a subtle clean look.
I have the same truck.
I aswell tinted the bumper corner lights and going to tint head and tail lights, color match the hoops/halo’s that hold the emblem/ lights someone has done it in on the forum but in blue not area51
Yes exactly, speedo off by .2 mile an hour at 60Sweet Mav. Are those 245/45r20s? They look nice![]()
I think the issue is that 20's don't look that great on a Maverick that HASN'T been lowered. My personal opinion, and this really depends on what you plan to use your truck for, is that it should be lowered before you put on aftermarket wheels (unless of course you are using it off road). I just think the gap between the wheel and wheel well arch should be equal. Is it a FL thing?
20"s on a stock Mav just don't look good.
[at least from the photos above - could be way different in person, I'll give you that]
Just my opinion, and it is worth what you paid for it - nada.
