I submitted a purchase order in 10/2022 and it was pushed into a transition order converting the 2023 to the 2024 model. I was sent an email that I would still receive the old MSRP pricing. When my truck came into Surprise Ford they "could not find" the certificate and tried to charge me 2024 MSRP pricing. 10 phone calls later Ford Marketing says they can not give me the cert, only dealers can. Well my dealer has no incentive to produce the cert because they listed my truck $5k over current MSRP. They lied and said I refused the order.

Please send me an honest sales rep and dealer that I can work with. I have an order through Bell Ford right now and I may want to switch the dealer to a good one if possible for that order.

Thanks

Hi, I went with Sarah at San Tan Ford in Gilbert. She was great in keeping me informed of the status of my order throughout the process, made the changes I requested while I was waiting for a build date, let me pick which, if any, dealer add on options I wanted when the truck was shipped, and sold it to me for MSRP with very fair consideration on my trade-in Ranger. All in all, it was a very good experience. Is not particularly convenient from Surprise but, likely, you'll only need to make the drive twice.

Good luck with wherever you land.

I maintain the MTC forum's list of dealer recommendations and warnings. Members have submitted the following to me so far.

Bullhead City / Anderson Ford => 2 recommendations
Gilbert / San Tan Ford => 2 warnings
Phoenix / Sanderson Ford => 1 recommendation (let me know if you would like to submit a warning for them and I will send you the Google Form for reporting them).

By the way, you might want to consider out of state dealerships that are getting large allocations. Examples include Galpin Ford in CA, Long McArthur in KS, etc.
