Please vote only if you plan on buying a hood as the 40 have to be the same design but can be different material. If RK sees the potential then they would probably start making different designs anyways. But lets focus on the first hood design for now. Thanks.

I won't be buying a hood any time soon, but if I were it would be a grabber style. The Maverick already has those notches built into it's design. I think functionally build on that with the snorkels there but then have rear be open like a cowl hood, that way any air coming in would mix with hot air then go straight out the back. Giving a small cooling effect.

It would look the best because it's based on what's already there.

I'm not in the 40 but the straight cowl is probably the best place to start. Ram air is cool but unnecessary unless the rear is cowl vented. And the vented one just looks too dang busy. Might be alright for the over the top showy for the sake of showy crowd. Or Mark Hammil.

Honestly , I will go for one of a modern vented cowl with a drop center front lip ,about 1 1/2” at the front lip up to 2” all the way to 18” mark at this point a raptor style vented bulge cowl with additional side vents , would be most current trend !
there is plenty of room to lower the entire hood down the center.

if you integrate with anew grill even more !

I would also go for it with a grabber style , probably best if they modernized the opening edges to an edgier or angular style .as long as we got more drop at the front , for better off-roading view.
people don’t realize a couple inches out front can equate to additional meters of in front view .
but I can commit to an all glass version for sure . Just some kind of drop center .
