I finally added the Mabett mud flaps on yesterday and so far I’m liking them. They’re a thicker material, but not hard. Feels rubber like. I also like that they don’t go up against the paint like some other mud flaps for the Maverick do. And it was definitely an easy install. Hopefully they’re back in stock soon. I’ve had them for a couple weeks and just got around to it. But they seem worth it to me.

I removed the OEM mudflaps that came factory installed and replaced with the Mabetts to avoid the known paint damage issue. Love the Mabetts. Better coverage, nice looking, easy install, reasonable price, and no concave design to trap snow and debris. Very pleased.

Really like my Mabett mud flaps also. Their flexibility makes them less likely to be snapped off when off-roading. Time will tell.

Mine are holding up well and I am very happy with them as well.

I added a piece of rubber mat to the inside of the driver side rear flap for better coverage.

Does anyone know whether that paint scrub issue is still happening in 2024 models? Has Ford changed anything yet? I can't believe they want to pay for endless paint repairs.

Do the Ford splash guards help with the infamous gap?

Not sure what gap you refer to, I put mine on, looked good and forgot about them.
I think thats what's suppose to happen.

There is a hole on the driver's side that is not covered by many mud flaps. It allows water, mud, snow, etc to get slung up into the wiring for the rear lights.

I usually don't put on mud flaps, but will when I figure out which one best blocks road stuff from getting into the rear light area on the driver side.

The WeatherTech(iirc) and Rokblokz both block the hole.
I have the Rokblokz on my truck.

Ahh yep, now I remember why I chose the RokBlokz above the other cheaper option. That gap on all the other versions to me seemed to defeat the purpose of the mud flaps even being on that side. And... because I'm lazy :ROFLMAO:
