I ordered my Maverick back in Nov 2021 and somehow my order got lost or erased or cancelled. a couple months ago, I spoke to the sales manager and he showed me that emails had been sent to me and were not opened. I never got them, but I could not say they did not go to my junk mail file. So I ordered another truck. On Sept 19th, I got the order number, VIN, and build date of Nov 20. So, yesterday, the dealer called me and said they had received a 2023 model, and asked me if I wanted it. I went in and it was the same as I had ordered in 2021. So, I bought it even tho the 2nd truck I ordered, a 2024 model will be be in in a couple more months. I drove her a bit today and got 58 miles per gallon on an 8 mile test run. The 2024 will probably cost more and maybe be worth more, but I am tired of waiting.

You made the right choice, the MY23 is a better truck because the 24's have had items removed that were standard on the 23's.

What items were removed from the 2024 that were standard in the 2023?
My 2023 to 2024 rollover lost the manual rear sliding door and the 400W inverter, but neither of these items were standard - I had to choose them and pay for them, and now I don't.
Even the number pad was a paid option that is no longer.
What standard item was removed from 2023 to 2024?

Many people on the forum stated that the temp figures are no longer on the dials, no door pad, not able to get options unless you upgrade to a Lariat, sorry, thats just my opion.

I picked her up today and I am a happy camper again. It is so large inside with plenty of room and so much electronic dodads that I may have to go back to school.
