Tools in the back seat -- how to protect seat from damage

For contractors or anyone using Mav as a work truck and putting tools in the back seat, what are you doing to protect the back seat from damage?
I was thinking something like this from Amazon, but it looks like a bit of a pain to take off when I want to use the seats as seats on occasion.

We have just the seat locked in the up position for now. Not perfect but there's enough space for my needs.

Same issue as you. Want to keep power tools and tool box out of easy reach of thieves. To solve I purchased a padded back seat dog cover that straps on both front seat and rear seat headrests forming a "U". You also have an out of sight area in the footwell under the pad. Sorry I am not able to give ordering specifics except I purchased it on Chewy.com and it was about $35-37 in October 2022.

I use this cover for work and also to protect my seat from baby spills. Tools, cycling gear, groceries and even baby diaper changes. Works amazing that I even have one in my wife’s ride.

I use a similar cover for when I go camping. Wouldn't say it's a huge pain. I like that the seat belts can be fed through the bottom if someone needs to sit back there.

You may want to think about putting a furniture pad under the dog mat. Won’t hurt.

Looks like a great setup! I like the fact that the seat belt covers are flaps instead of holes. some of the ones I read reviews on that claim to be waterproof say that the seat belt holes make the waterproofness much less waterproofey.
