No additional XL's to be scheduled in December.
My MY24 XL Hybrid has just been delayed from 10/23 to 11/13.
Could be shortage of the 17" Continental tires or even a shortage of the hybrid transmission, which I believe is built at a UAW factory in Michigan.
The fun never ends!

First timer here... bunch of dumb questions. Hoping to outlive my Mav order.
1) Can someone help me to understand this info? I ordered a 24 Lariat in July 23. No great colors so I settled on Hot Pepper red. Does the info shown tell me my truck might be built in Dec?
2) Looks like i might be on hold because i ordered a hard trifold tonneau cover? What does exhausted availability mean--> never ?
3) Should i redo my order and drop the tonneau?
4) Any chance I'll see this truck by mid Feb?
5) When is it too late to make small changes?
6) is Cactus gray actually green or light gray ? I like green, not so much gray.
7) When might I see a scheduled prod date? Does Ford update anything?

Last week, I begged my dealer to remove the mudflaps to get me a better chance.
But still a loooooooong shot for my XL hybrid rollover to be scheduled :coffee:

Ford sending build date emails tomorrow?

My Daughter wants my Maverick (hers once my 24 gets here). She won't like the news tomorrow because I'm ok with it not scheduling. But if it happens, sweet. She will be sad of the outcome tomorrow though.:ROFLMAO:

I'd be fine with mine getting rolled to a '25 and maybe getting some updates.

It appears the systemic process of selection for build, is random and variable sensitive. We all desire ours to be the next listed. I do mine as well. However, at 73 and hopefully learned about life and Murphys law… should yours precede mine, I am truly happy for you. We are all
Part of a wonderful family of Maverick loving, appreciative, aficionados. I check this forum daily! To the next lucky brother from a different mother but the same Maverick family, congratulations! Kudos to you and enjoy your ride!

1-2) Hard Tri-fold Tonneau cover being exhausted means they won't be building any orders with those in December, so at the moment you're not going to have a December build. Exhausted/limited are monthly, so they could be back in stock in January.
3) Your dealer can edit the order and that could help you, though too late for December build. Not impossible though, as the next 3 Thursdays will have clean-up scheduling and that's a possibility of getting shoe-horned in if you fit what's available and make the change quick.
4) Based on some of the posts here, shipping seems to be 4 weeks for New England and Oregon and as quick as a week in Texas. So a January build could potentially make it for mid-Feb, but that'd likely be your last chance.
5) I believe once you get the VIN, but some one will have to confirm that. I basically wouldn't mess with it once you get a build date to be safe though.
6) The ones I have seen in person are mostly light grey, but can have that hint of green in certain lighting.
7) Second Thursday of the month (tomorrow) is when most get their build date email if they're getting one, with sporadic Mon-Thurs the rest of the month as clean up scheduling is processed.

Most importantly for build date, you need to talk to your dealer about their allocations. How many rollovers do they have left unscheduled and how many of those are similar options to your order? How many allocations are the expecting on average per month? What is your priority code compared to other new orders? All of those influence where in line you are with your specific dealership. Take a look here: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...lanation-of-maverick-order-allocations.36302/

Welcome to the forum! Lots of good information to be found.

1) Provided your dealership has your email correct in the Ford system, when you win the production lottery, Ford will send you an email with your VIN and the week it is scheduled to be built. Along with a URL to track your order.
2) Exhausted availability means no orders with that option will be pulled for this next scheduling cycle, meaning the month of December. Also see Commodity Constraints
3) You should query and watch the Ford Video Guy on YouTube. He says to remove any optional item that can easily be installed by your dealership or yourself later to give you the best chance for your order to be selected for production. If it were me, I would drop the tonneau cover off your order and get an updated order that shows that option has been removed.
4) Your chances are fading fast.
5) You should be able to make small optional item changes up until your order is selected for production.
6) To my eye, it appears pale green in hue.
7) Provided your dealership has your email correct in the Ford system, you should receive a "so sorry we were thinking about ya mail" each 45 days up until your order is scheduled for production.

I personally had to wait 18 months before I received my VIN. But it was worth the wait. There are current over 40k Maverick orders in the system. Barring a long UAW strike, many folks on the forum believe Ford will be able to fill many of those orders by spring of next year. Your dealerships Maverick allocation and the total number of orders they have are the key to having your order scheduled for production.

Good luck!

Have a MY2024 Lariat EB (Sunroof, BAP, 4K, HPR) on order (ordered 7/17). About a month ago, noticed a number of Lariats like mine, identical really, were getting scheduled. Called the dealer and said drop the mudflaps. Said he did.

Yesterday I got scheduled, week of 12/4. Have a VIN. Checked all of the specs.... mudflaps still on (either a Ford error, or dealership didn't remove them from the order)... So although constrained and limited, my truck got scheduled w/ BAP and the mudflaps... Go figure?
