Nice, yes a F150 will be more reliable in the long run than a Maverick will.

Is your F150 flex fuel capable? I was considering getting a F150 eventually too but it would have to be flex fuel capable as gas is $5.50 a gallon again here in CA and E85 is only like $2.85.
$2.85 is excellent against $5.50. Here is a link to my Fuel Compare. It compares the cost per BTU across grades of fuel. Here in Texas E85 is very expensive as a choice.

FuelCompare.pdf

Better to price energy unit per dollar. Volume is misleading, but some nitwit picked MPG and not Distance per Energy Unit as the measure. (yes, engineer here)

I'll correct myself, best to determine cost / distance as that is what ultimally truly counts.

Does anyone know if there is a F150 forum like this one for the Maverick?
Yea but all they talk about on F150 forums is how often to replace the engines :ROFLMAO:
I'm jk... kinda. It's definitely more maintenance oriented on the F150 forums I used to frequent.
Good luck to you!

We're blessed to have the best of both worlds, a 2012 F-150 we bought new, and a 2022 Maverick we also bought new. Your truck looks good and the mileage is low, which is tough to get with an F-150. Best of luck.

Thats because they keep the F150 20 yrs and most people on that forum opt to do there own maintenance.

@PA-Homesteader Good luck with your F150. If I could have still climbed in and out of my 1999 I would still have it! That truck is still on the road as a daily driver. I like my Mav but I loved that Flair Side.

Like the title says, I had blast hanging out on this forum for the last year or so learning all things Maverick. I truly do believe it’s a great little truck. But after waiting about a year I can’t wait any longer. My current daily driver just crapped the bed and I needed a new vehicle ASAP. Would have loved a Maverick but after searching I couldn’t find one in my budget/options I wanted.

That’s when I found my new truck

It’s a 2016 F150 4x4 5.0V8 w/6sp transmission w/tow mod. 74k Miles, FX4 package, Chrome package, Max tow package, & Lux package in Bronze Fire Red color. I paid the same price I would have for the Maverick and I absolutely love it!

I do honestly believe the F150 would be better for me in the long run compared to the Maverick, I’m very glad I stumbled upon this truck!!!

(And to add insult to injury, I saw about 20 Mavericks on the road on the trip there and back, had to go out of state for the F150)
What a beauty!! But it would be far more than I could ever use, best of luck to you!!

Looks like it's led a sheltered life and with 74K it's just broken in.

I’d still have a ‘94F150 with the straight six if a neighbor didn’t total it. The truck was at 145k when it was towed away. I did remove the bucket seats and install the pair in another F150.
