My wife bought her Mav on July 3, still no Ford Pass points
FordPass Rewards points are like CreditCard miles or any other similar point reward system - you get 42,000 of them when you purchase any new Ford Vehicle. You can spend them at any Ford Dealer (including some online) for Ford Parts and service.
You do not have to set it up ahead of time, but if you don't, then the dealer will walk you through it when you take delivery.
You can start things ahead of time by downloading the 'Fordpass' app from the Android or Apple app stores, and creating an account. If you have your VIN number already, you can also add the vehicle using that even if you haven't taken delivery yet. (See here for more details: https://www.ford.com/support/category/fordpass/)
Sometime after purchase, the points should be added to your account. If they aren't, I would suggest calling their support number (I mentioned it a few replies ago) as the folks there are very helpful.
