Serious question -- anyone actually talked to a dealer and put in a MY24 order with a confirmation today? Much less jumped through the 23-to-24 rollover hoops?

I've called my dealer (the one I placed my MY23 order with) four times today, haven't managed to talk with anyone, no idea if they're even able to place orders yet.

I have this sneaking suspicion they just don't want to talk to me... Hybrid Mavericks are clearly nothing but bad news, and low margin vehicles at that

Just talked to my salesman and he said the order banks have been down and they are going to keep trying to enter orders. It blows my mind that in the year of 2023 and the precedent set for the expectations of this truck that Ford can’t figure out how to increase their resources to accommodate the additional load. It seems they are incapable of learning from the past. It’s not like they put this date in stone months ago….

I had an appointment with my dealer early this morning (7/17). He called me and said not to come in. They tried to place an order for a MY24 Maverick and the site would not allow the to place an order. They hear the site would not accept orders until 4pm EDT. He said they would call me when they are able to place an order.
So, now I wait. I may take a ride over after 6pm my time and see in person what is going on.

Just talked to my dealer as well and they are having the same exact issue as last year when they opened up the first day for Maverick orders. Although the order bank is open, once you build it, you are not able to preview or submit it. You would think they would learned from last year’s mistake!

Appreciate the info/experiential learning. Needless to say that's also what's happening here in Chicagoland as well.

Honestly wouldn't bother me so much, except my dealer always seems to do this -- I call with a legitimate question, they deflect and dodge until I finally manage to snag someone in person or on the phone after unsuspectingly coming in from lunch. They're like eels.

called my sales rep earlier. we chatted and I sent him a link to my hybrid build from Ford's website. He had me sign some paperwork and sent him a copy of my DL again.
He said for us to talk again later this afternoon to just confirm all is good.
I plan to call him here in the next hour. I know they are going to be busy

The remote start being added probaly biggest thing for me right now . 1000000 degrees right now !
I believe you can use Ford pass APP to remote start. I wanted 2 functional key fobs plus the keypad on the drivers door plus the price of getting a fully functional extra key fab at the dealer was probably more expensive than the original option offered.

It's fair as long as you really need or wanted those options. You gain some and you lose some. I really like the key pad and the rear sliding window allows me to place my fishing rods through the window as I move on the beach from one place to the other. 😊
Exactly - So glad I got my 2023 Lariat/Hybrid (01/11/23) that I ordered back in 2021. I ordered it with all the "Standard" items that were "Included", with the exception of the $100 hitch. This was all I wanted and all I needed. With the $2,750 ford rebate and the Ford A/Z-Plan @ $1,406 applied, I had an Out-The-Door price of $27,521.00.

I did a build-price on a 2024 Maverick this morning with no add-ons but the Hybrid engine. I couldn't believe what Ford has done to this great little truck pricing when it comes to the Lariat. They have FORCED a lot of add-ons that I would NEVER need or use. There are very few options now and at a minimum, you are going to pay $38,687.00 (minus any rebate) Out-The-Door for a 2024 Lariat /Hybrid here in SW Florda.

$11, 106.00 difference -- Thanks Ford for making me wait eleven months to get my Maverick. This new price erases the memory of a painful experience.

This is not "INFLATIONARY" --I guess when you've lost 3 billion dollars, you do this kind of thing!

I suppose we don’t have the demand that the states does.
Love that you think demand has anything to do with it, wish I could be so optimistic. I'll go ahead and assign Canada (all of it) a 137 priority code -- just as good as all the others bc they're all equally meaningless.

I checked the price on my XL order for 2024. It came out to $1,530.00 more than the 2023 order. The price difference is the Feb. 23, $500 increase, the $805 2024 increase, and the bed rail package of $225 that was discounted on the 2023 order.
