Maverick Tremor Off-Road Test: More Fun Than It Should Be
Pretty good review, they guy had some fun with it. They did another "family" review aswell.

The short section 10:00 to 12:20 is the Tremor proof of concept shown with barely measurable wheel spin. With the locking PTU and twin clutch RDU the Tremor makes that section look deceivingly easy. I cannot think of a front biased AWD, aside from the BSBL, doing it without a lot of wheel spin.
Even without everything locked I had 2 wheels in that air at Moab and only had a second of spin. On another obstacle I went fully locked and it never even slowed.

Too bad the Avalanche color isn't always available anymore, bah.. I like HPR but the orange (bronze, as he called it) really works well with the gray.

Ford did right by making the 2.0L the standard ICE option. It wouldn't be nearly as fun with the 3 banger in it. As it is it shines at 80+ mph. Very fun truck for "spirited" driving.

He did say soft roading but yeah I wouldn't take any maverick rock climbing.
There is offroading and there is wheeling(or mudding depending on where you live). You are thinking of wheeling.
Tom Cruise would.
