I have been "Very Happy" with MY "BASE" model, since it has just enough of the " Bells and Whistles" to my liking..

Only One complaint = FORD, this should have been your replacement for the 3rd Gen Rangers..
Back in 2012..

First off, thanks to everyone on this site. All the info, posts, suggestions, pics ect have been super helpful. After 557 days waiting, I can finally say i am a member of the Maverick (Area 51) club.

While waiting i ordered Tux Mats, a stubby antenna, and tailgate damper and have finally been able to install them. Next up is bed lighting, tailgate lettering, and a bed extender.

I picked up my Area 51 hybrid this past weekend and loving it so far. This little truck has exceeded my expectations. My only gripe so far is that i notice EVERY single fingerprint on the mavericks paint...I feel like this thing attracts fingerprints (atleast from my 8 year old) like a magnet. Would a ceramic coat or maybe a good waxing fix this?
Yes get some silicon dioxide graphene wax. Like turtle wax brand. Easy to use great results. Much less smudging . This is two coats. See clay bar threads for paint prep ideas.

This is a base Hybris XL. What I have done so far:

1)Ceramic Coating - First thing I did after getting it. This is the first ceramic coat I have done, and I used Cquartz UK 3.0 . Good bit of work getting it ready and doing it, but went well. FYI, decontamination (Iron-X) surprised me on how much was there to remove just from getting it shipped from the factory. I then topped it with SiO2 spray-on (Turtlewax Hybrid Solutions). I realy like how it worked out.
2) Modular bed liner from Ford (used FordPass points)
3) No name hard tri-fold tonneau cover on ebay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/165585601528?hash=item268dabc3f8:g:nb8AAOSw0bJi1l3p). I'm happy with it for the price. Fits well and seems well made. Shipped fast and came with spare bits. The seller emailed and promised 24hour response turn around if I had any questions or issues (I didn't).
4) Amazon tie-downs to fill out the missing ones (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C5RME3C/ and https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MNVZKFN/).
5) Floor mats (https://www.amazon.com/SMARTLINER-Weather-Compatible-2022-2023-Maverick/dp/B09X7FL16M/). I think I found them somewhere cheaper than Amazon, but this is what I got. Fit perfectly.
6) Bronco Sport (Big Bend) wheels. I found a good deal on new take-offs (wheels and tires).

Plans:
Mostly done, but I think I will eventually do a CubanRedneck's Trailer Hitch reciever and add black vinyl lettering for the tailgate.
