I liked your idea and since I finally get a set of Mabetts, I followed your example. I'm can be a bit of a packrat, so I didn't throw away the rectangles I had to cut out of the bedliner when I added the side cubbies a few months ago. I remember setting the cutout piece aside thinking I might...
Today I finally added the two bed cubbies that I bought a few months ago for my XL hybrid. I have the Ford drop in bed lines that I had to pull out and cut, which I had been putting off. I did the passenger side and everything was as I expected. When I got to the driver's side, it was just...
I'll second this one. I did a CQUARTZ ceramic coating, and then used this as a top coat. It worked great and was easy to use. Since I had it, I used it on my other cars that didn't have a ceramic coat and it ended up very nice. For an inexpensive and easily available (Walmart, etc) it seem...
I have two of the silver steel wheel center caps. Why two? I came out to a parking lot within the first month of owning my Maverick and found two missing (stolen - I doubt he just fell off). That was the push I needed to replace the steel wheels. Anyway, I have two for sale - $20 each (will...
Takeoff steel wheels & tires (OEM Continentals). Less than 400 miles (still have some of the seam flashing that hasn't worn off yet). No TPMS. San Antonio area. $350 OBO. Also have OEM lugs if you want them.
I'm sure someone has done something like this, but I didn't find it in a quick search, so here it is:
I wanted to have both the front and back dividers at the same height as the wheel wells and tailgate (at half open). It seemed like a no brainer to add for 4x8 sheets sitting level in the...
Push button start, hands down. Last time I bought a car, it was 5 years ago and Hyundai had push button start as standard. It's hard going back. It is so nice just leaving your keys in you pocket.
Surprisingly strong feeling about this... I will note that I don't think anyone is looking for or installing brake lights that "flash constantly" or "strobing in a constant manor" (sic). What I found does three quick flashes and then is on constant (see my video). As for legality, I think it...
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I have never seen them as annoying when I follow them. I think they help, obviously you don't. Claiming they are "more hazardous" seems a bit of a stretch.
I've only had them a day. 😁 They claim a 1 year warranty, but had a card in the package that said if I registered with them they have a 5 year warranty. Not sure what my thoughts are on registering 4 bulbs that cost $16....
For anyone interested in plug&play third brake light with a strobe function, I grabbed another brand that had lots of good reviews on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/FANTELI-Flashing-Brighter-Non-Polarity-Brilliant/dp/B097PMD2VW
I actually bought it as a set with two white led bulbs for the two...
Here is mine:
This is a base Hybris XL. What I have done so far:
1)Ceramic Coating - First thing I did after getting it. This is the first ceramic coat I have done, and I used Cquartz UK 3.0 . Good bit of work getting it ready and doing it, but went well. FYI, decontamination (Iron-X)...
I got mine at Jordan in San Antonio at MSRP without an issue. They did have a charge that was about $150 or so I think that "helped pay your salesman". Since they also identified and add a $500 discount I wasn't aware of, I'm okay with it. :)
I got my Maverick with steel wheels, but always planned on replacing them (I don't like the look). After watching for a couple weeks, I finally found some Bronco Sport (Big Bend) wheel and tires (new takeoffs) that were local to me and at a good price. I'm very happy with them. Nothing that...
