Congrats to the winners. It was great for this "Focus Guy" to get to meet and hang with many of you and see the passion for this new platform. It will likely be 2025 before we get a Mav to replace the Escape, but we'll be there with all of you when it happens. It can't be stated enough what a great job that Kim @KdeB did getting this organized and managed. And a big thank you to all of the sponsors who donated their goods; when the time comes, I'll have some free Eibach springs to install on mine.

Nice. I was thinking of that spot, but thought the Ford glass text would interfere. Seems ok.

Looks like it was a great time for those that attended. I reviewed all the pics and Tim/Sarah videos.

A comment: while Ford marketed the Mav as a lower-cost option to urban millennials/Gen Z/etc, I noticed a vast majority of the owners interviewed were well north of 40 years old. I wonder what the average age was of the attendees? I'd think 55~60yo at least.

Being 67yo myself, I just found that interesting. Not meant as a slight to young owners, just an observation. It seems the Mav is desired by all age groups.

Keen observance!

In our group, I think we had three people who could be classified as “young adult,” and a few more who might be “middle agers.” (upper 30s-40s, early 50s).

But yes, many of us were “well north” of that … Retirees in 60s and 70s.

Keep in mind, though, that the older folks — retirees — are more likely to be in a position to attend an event like this, both time and money wise, especially those driving in from a distance. So that’s a facfor also.

Also, the younger among us were more likely not to be seen sitting and hanging out in the tent, but out energetically walking around the 80-plus acres of the show.
