Overspray on new truck

My 2023 white Ford Maverick FX4 finally came in was supposed to pick it up 11:00 a.m. eastern standard time and the dealer just called me and told me there's white over spray on the driver's left side. They're bringing it to the body shop to try and remove it anyone ever see this.

Whatever happened to this truck happened at the factory. When I went to look at it Saturday it was so dirty from 5 weeks of transport.

I can't see any overspray from your photos?? Was it a white paint, or a spray-in bedliner problem?

I’m just glad you went and put eyes on it. If you hadn’t I’d say “sounds like some shady dealer shenanigans to pull the rug out from under you.”

White paint when you look at the bottom rocker panel the XLT molding and the molding where the keypad is and zoom in on you could see it

Overspray does not happen at the factory. The parts mentioned are not on the vehicle when painting occurs.
I have heard of transportation companies attempting fixes before delivery to dealer. That isn't supposed to happen, but I am sure it has.
Depending on when it actually was unloaded off the transport truck, it could have been done at the Dealership. Then someone getting it ready for delivery noticed the shoddy work done by someone. I would carefully look at the door(s) and fender/bed area for sanding scratches, mismatched paint color or overspray in door opening area.

I got good news when I went to the Ford dealer it was not always right it was white splatter from shipping. They got it all off. I was very concerned but now it's corrected

Yeah, it kinda looked like caliche road splash to me

Truck is as it should be brand new. They overreacted and this is a detail guy for 40 years and it came right off. I'm happy
