Let's hope so. Amazing how it takes a month to ship a car by rail. Now I understand why our infrastructure needs work. I have no idea how to track the car from Buffalo. The truck transport looks like you need to be a dealer to access their website, they ask for a PW.

Which truck transport are you looking at?

Called NS earlier and it says "Actual placement of car" @ 11:30

It's still train-speak so I assume it just means they unhooked the train car and moved it to where they will unload it. Unsure if it includes being unloaded or not.

RLOD Date and time the shipper releases a loaded unit from
their siding and into railroad control.
This implys that car was not in railroad control possibly held by shipper or held due to needing repair or whatever. If you see RMTY then you will know rail car date and time it has been unloaded and released back to railroad. Rail tracking is of the rail car not your pickup!

I haven't had any luck getting any convoy info now. I have been looking at United Road trying to get a load number but I have not gotten anything. It is possible that they are not the ones doing the final leg of the delivery however.

If I read it correctly, makin do for now indicates we need to see the RMTY message to appear, indicating its's unloaded. That's if I understand his explanation correctly where the railcar is released back to the railroad.

And what do I get today, another set of delivery dates ranging from 5/29 to 6/11. The shipping of this truck is a nightmare. For what they charge for shipping i could have contracted a carrier and had the car delivered in a week to 10 days. A Burro towing a wagon would have delivered it by now.
What can be the holdup from Buffalo to Rochester?

I'll be sure not to send any donor body parts by rail.

Been checking daily on United Road and have not seen a load number come up, is it possible this isn't the right service for NYS?

I've got to display some patience, which I've been lacking, and be glad that I'm at a point of receiving my truck that many people wish they were at. My dealership says I'm very lucky in comparison to similar trucks other people have ordered.

At this point in the delivery process I'm at a loss where to get any meaningful arrival info.

I would like to thank the people, including yourself, for all the helpful information that has been supplied.

I'll post more info when the truck finally arrives.

Congrats. My dealer said that I should see my truck this week since it's in Buffalo. So have you seen your vehicle yet? Did you see this on the order tracking site or did Ford send you an email or did the dealer contact you?
