not related..much, but I know powder coating is the way to go on those who just want black wheels and are penurious.(cheap) Is there a rattle can(gasp) of any black paint that will actually hold up to abuse(not curb rash or course) but every day driving?

VHT makes good wheel paint. You could also use hyperdip or superwrap. Both spray on and peel off like plastidip but are of much higher quality. The latter 2 require good prep but are much more forgiving than spraypainting.
