EcoBoost Oil Leak

I was doing the first oil change on my EcoBoost and noticed a little oil dripping from the weep hole where the engine and transmission bolt together. Rear main seal maybe?

I'm not that concerned since the truck is obviously still under warranty, but was curious if anyone else has run across this.

Others have noted the transmission fluid coming out of the breather and running down in that area. Mine was that way the first oil change and i cleaned it up with brake cleaner. I have had nothing since. Im at 16k miles now and have done 3 oil changes.

The fluid wasn't red, so I'm fairly confident that it's not transmission fluid. I cleaned it off with brake cleaner. I'll re-check it in a couple weeks and take it to the dealer if it's still dripping.

On top of the transmission it was red, at the bottom is was dirty from contaminants.

Im curious what color was your engine oil?

I didn't see any fluid on top side, but will do a closer inspection.

The engine oil was brown with greenish tint. I did my first change at 1000 miles, so it wasn't in there long enough to turn dark/black.
