Removing light scuff marks from black rear bumper?

Does anyone know what I can use to get light scuff marks out of the black rear bumper? I came out of the store over the weekend only to find a shopping against my back bumper.Luckly I didn't have more damage done.It just show how stupid and lazy some people are not to put the shopping cart away!!

Not sure and I wouldnt try it without searching for more info but jeep people use hair dryers or heat guns on their plastics as they age and scrape up.

Do you have any pictures of the scuff? If it's not too deep or just on the surface, it might be fixable with some plastic trim restorer.

I've used a magic eraser on older vehicles, and it works great, but I'm not sure I'd use it on brand new as technically it is an abrasive. Not sure what long term effects it would have on pretty new plastic.

I know Turtle Wax makes a trim restorer, but I'm not sure if would remove the marks or merely cover them up. Might be worth it to get it anyway to keep your black trim looking good and see if it solves your problem. $12. Here's the link to the Turtle Wax page and I'm sure it's available on Amazon, as well.

Yeah, literally the next day after I picked up my truck, some lady decided to go feed ducks behind my truck. Put a nice scratch in the tailgate. Owned for less than 24 hours... People suck.

Even worse is door dings. I tend to park away from other cars but there is always a few that decide to park a few inches away from me. Our local Shop Rite requires you to put a quater in to get a cart. Which is refunded when you put it back. While a pain it works great.
