Must have accessories or Mods for a new XLT EB AWD?

Hi all,

Deposit placed on a Alto Blue Metallic XLT, EB AWD w/ Blackout package and some other goodies.

What seems to be the must have universal mods or accessories for this truck? Never owned a truck. Coming from a ‘14 Focus ST that was heavily modded.

Good floor mats (TUXMAT) and bed cover (BAK Revolver X4S). I pick up my Mav tomorrow after 11 years with a Focus. I will miss the manual transmission.

These were my first two 'gateway' mods that I bought months before my truck arrived because they were so cheap and an easy. Then as the delivery date got closer my garage started filling up with new tires, tonneau cover, floor mats... It is very easy to make these trucks your own with so many mod options and accessories, I love it.

Go to Amazon, select Automotive Parts & Accessories, type in Ford Maverick … and you’ll see all sorts of neat aftermarket stuff being made for these little trucks.

And before you pay top dollar for any accessories from Ford, check out Amazon first. For instance, the highly recommended tailgate assist is $50 from Ford — identical item (Dee Zee brand) is $39 from Amazon.

Another essential is a center console organizer — the space under the center armrest is just a big open bin, so if you put stuff in there, it’s going to be messy pile of stuff soon. They make two-tier tray inserts that give you three layers of more organized storage in this space.

Man, that is quite a list. If you put all this stuff on it, you would have more mod and upgrade parts than the parts that went into the Mav. OP could just use this list and pick and choose for the next 3 years.
