not OP, but I think itās an adapter to drop the level of the rack down. If you refer to my photo, the tailgate will hit unless you tilt down the rack. With OPs setup, you donāt need to worry about that. Alternatively it may be an adapter for size and to lower it at the same time offering a dual...
Enjoy! You can get the SD/HD. Also sway towards aluminum. The black fades over time but doesnāt compromise otherwise. Iād also say unless e-bikes, you donāt need the extreme. Also get all the locks up front so they match. I think for two bikes youāll want five? One for the hitch and two per bike...
The rack needs to be brought to the ālowā position first. Easy enough and also invested in 1UPs ez-pull. Itās for a 2-rack but spoke to the rep at Sea Otter Classic recently and he said take a hacksaw to the rods and it works perfectly. So got it done :)
If you want an actual tent I can link you to one that fits decently enough. Although I do recommend the Kamp-Rite for 1-2 people along with either wood beams or the BamBed kit...based off the images and write ups ive seen its pretty slick!
Currently own a ā23 XLT BAP AWD EB.
Love it. Although Iāve owned it for 13 months and have 31K miles on it. Iām about 9500ish up in equity compared to what I owe and think this is gonna be my āforeverā truck platform for the next 4-6 years at least.
That said I commute for work a ton and Iām...
So the purpose IS to alert the alarm is armed and engaged.
that being said, itās possible the factory installed one is the same device as the aftermarket one. If so, itās easy to add one. Youāll need to do the legwork and inspection yourself to find said system if it exists as an ancillary add...
I can attest. I added it on the 13th day of owning the truck. Unfortunately on day 8 my window got smashed but oh well.
A few things:
-Be careful where you mount it. Note the under dash airbag directly below the column.
-Opt for the optional LED Security LED (Blinking Dash Light.) I drilled...
It doesnt essentially mean you will see them.
A.) They were spotted on a frontage road/passing/leaving but where "sighted."
B.) Old Update (not that old, but old enough for the vehicle to have moved on.
The Progress graphic just mimics other apps like Waze in a way. I wanna say there was a...
Probably using Google Maps/Directions? This is a 'marker' another user put on the road your traveling during a commute they had/shared ahead of you where they 'tagged' a Speed Check..aka Law Enforcement vehicle down the road potentially checking speeds. Its similar to using the Waze App and...
I REALLY like this (Even the Thule,) but the big problem for someone who is a weekend warrior for camping is I would lose out on my Bike Rack for those outdoor trips.
As far as I can tell, it has not. Although I am still running OEM light bulbs. Mostly because during the summer (last year,) itās hard to see at those times when I jump in the truck if itās ādoing it.ā Will swap them back soon while itās still dark out as I start my commute. See what happens.
Looking for peoples feedback on MPG/Drivability utilizing the Base Maps.
Meant to get this months ago and never have. Commute 80-120 miles a day, mostly FWY and wondering if this āhelps,ā or hinders MPG. Running an AWD EB.
I might be confusing myself, but where did you get the 12v from? The flex port at the end of the bed or run a new power line from the cab/battery, back?
are the flex ports that āare there,ā (hidden but usable,) powerful enough to supply power to various ports/devices needing power like air...
I decided to tackle the Curt 2ā receiver hitch on my own. Required basic tools, less a torque wrench, and a $20 oscillator tool I grabbed at Harbor Freight to make cutting the passenger side shroud up a breeze. What might have been 5-10 minutes of cutting was 15 seconds for a first timer...
OP - This is phenomenal. As someone who mountain bikes and wants to begin camping with my EB AWD Mav, this is a dream come true to see! I have a bed tent and would love to have this below! Any general plans or dimensions? I have almost 0 wood working skills but would be willing to learn/teach...
