For me it's been 469 days. This truck will be the first new vehicle that is primarily mine. (I always let the wife have the "new" car so she didn't have to worry so much about problems. I always drove the beater.) One of the beaters I had a couple of years ago was a 1995 Ford Ranger. I loved that truck. 5-speed manual and regular cab. Leaked oil and had very little umph, but it got me where I was going, and I could get 25 mpg out of it. When it got wrecked, I started looking at new pickups. Everything I found was an oversized gas guzzler with a price tag as big as a house. Then the Maverick came along. Rated at 42 mpg (at the time), not too big, and a sub $20k MSRP. This was going to be my next truck.

At this point it is a contest between me and FoMoCo, and I refuse to give up. After 23 years in the military, I am a pro when it comes to playing "hurry up and wait". And to me it's worth the wait.
Firstly, thank you for you service and I truly hope you get it soon! I currently drive a 96 b3000. Basically a ranger so, I completely understand. Under current circumstances, I don’t see myself waiting over a year. With that being said, I was crashed into by some crackhead with no insurance. I was the 8th car in a line of wrecks he left in his path running from the cops. After that I almost bought another car around July 2021 to replace the b300. But it kept going. I started looking but didn’t find anything appealing. I learned of the maverick and soon after the order banks closed. But my mind was set. I began the wait until September to order. And that when I gave myself a 6-8 month window. Because I had been waiting 9months for the maverick but over a year for a new car.

Mine is on a train right now heading to DFW. It shouldn't be long now.

Oh congrats!!! I didn’t notice your footer.
Mine is scheduled, fingers crossed, before April. I did switch from hybrid to EB when the possibility presented itself

I'm in Wichita Falls. Ordered from Ford House of Wichita Falls. Once it's in DFW, it's on a truck to my dealership.

For those of you that have been waiting since the dawn of time for your 2022 rolled to 2023 Mavs, I have good news, my Sept 17, 2022 order isn't in production.

On a side note, for those of you that have talked to Ford and they told you "Unscheduled, Clean", what does that mean? My order is now Unscheduled Clean!
