Ford Double Charging on Manual Sliding Rear Window???

Looking at my build on XL Hybrid, is this a mistake, the 360 comes with the sliding window? But when added into the build separately, I got charged again...

Build and price has often had some bugs and unclear things. I would guess this is one of those. Build and price is not how trucks are ordered that is a different system that is used by dealers only.

The answer is yes. The 4K and FX4 packages overlap the HD radiator and cooling fan and the FX4 and Lux both include a 2K trailer hitch, which gets duplicated in the 4K. Years ago the Ford website used to credit you the cost of these things when you selected multiple packages, but hey why do that when you have people standing in line to buy cars?

When add CP360, you are required to include the window.
So the window shows up as a separately priced item, whichever way it gets included.
The price of the window is not in the package, so you are not double charged.

I just took the window off the build, just 360...so it's not a required item..

Found a manual sliding rear window is a pain. You will never open it. Better off not having it. It's nice to have a power rear widow. Cuts out the buffering when the windows are open.

the order/build process is really weird? on an XLT, to get remote start for $170, you have to add the $1,730 luxury package?

I don’t know the answer to your question about the window and 360, but I can tell you when it says 360 is included in the Lariat Lux package it means you have to buy 360 to have the Lux package.

So, it’s included (must have) for an additional cost.

It's the other way around. Manual rear sliding window on XL requires Co-Pilot360, presumably as it obstructs the view out of the rear windshield.

XLT and Lariat include the blind spot mirrors (not BLIS, which is the blind spot indicator lights on the mirrors that's included in the CP360 package). Thus, they don't need to add CP360 alongside the rear sliding window options.

I own a 22 XL with CoPilot360 and I don't have a sliding rear window and was never asked if I wanted one.

Just a guess but maybe the rear slider makes it harder to see from the center rear view mirror so cp360 helps to cover that loss of visibility? I know a bed cap would cut your visibility even more but does not require the cp360.
There must be a reason. Just trying to make some sort of logic from this.

Why does cp360 give you a full size spare but only on the hybrid? Only Ford knows.
