The IC design is shared with the Escape and Bronco Sport which do have fog lights which would explain the iconography being present. Not unlike seeing unused glow plug icons on a model that doesn't have a diesel powertrain option.

I found a switch from f150 that looks the same as bronco and escape.

My switch came today. Might try tomorrow . Mocking up the fog lamps and build the base. Heres a preview of the switch im going to try to use.

Do you think you might want a heat shield here to protect the spare? Not worried about when you are driving, but when the truck is parked.

I got some pictures today since i was doing my oil change . Maybe you can see what i did . And see how much space theres between the spare tire and the exhaust.

Roger that, plus they have a heat shield on there already that I did not see before. Love this, is there a reason you could not pipe it to the passenger side? Looks like a shorter run. Again, I do not have a maverick yet.

You could do it that way too. I just prefer to the other way idk since the exhaust was in that position

So looking at where i might have to modify . This its the part that may have to cut the bumper . To fit a base from the upper part to the lower part . To fit the fog light i mark it with white line so you guys can see it

Yep looks like the lower part a little bit going to mess with it next week since its getting slow at work . Bumper its really easy to take off lol after a while

A little update dont know if someone try it before but im doing my own research on this with ford diagrams. Im thinking of installing a ford escape bcm to enable fog lamps. For now looks like the oem ford f150 its the same as the maverick one.

One thing i notice its Ford Escape and Maverick looks to be the same Bcm conectors so i could probably enable fog lamp just might have to trow a wire from bcm to fog lamps . And install missing fuse.

Got the cluster to work and i enable it on the bcm with the forscan tomorrow i will see if i can trace the wire to the front bumper or i may have to add 1 cable to the front and ground from the bcm to the front of the truck. But i think its possible.

Main harness for sure is the same as the others (BS and Escape)
I was going to go up to the dealer to work on that part but I got busy
Lower level BS must have people wanting to add fog lights

when i removed the bumper on the passenger side there's a connector that goes to the bumper i think there should be the power and ground for it. im checking tomorrow after work. theres 2 conectors only one from the bcm to the engine bay and the other conector that goes to the bumper.

the ford escape has 2 cables one for the left and the other for the right side fog lamps . and obviously the ground. i want to make sure first theres a wire that goes off the bcm first seems the bcm its the relay it self. ford escape front bumper harness should work. i belive but i think i can make my own harness since i can find the pigtails conectors
