Well, after all the waiting, I finally got the in production progress I was hoping for! Originally it was anticipated to go in production on the week of 11/28, but this seems like it started a week earlier (11/23). I haven’t received an email or anything yet, but honestly I don’t really care. Here’s to a potential early Christmas gift to myself!

And if I’m jumping the gun and they’re not producing this week, I’m not worried. Eventually arriving is nice too.

Mine (Lariat Hybrid) is scheduled for the week of 11/28 production. Ford tracking has just changed to "In Production" It says to check out the window sticker, but the window sticker isn't there yet. I'm excited and a little stressed-- I really didn't expect to get a truck until at least May (and at that point I'd have a huge down payment.)

...but hey, this a good problem to have!
You're a lucky duck. I have been waiting since October last year (2021). I'm envious I know. :giggle:

We had a 1990, one of the first Miatas in Miami. Talk about having people staring and wanting to ask about your car, it was crazy.
I paid... $3000 over sticker, on a $14,000 car.

It was blue.
Mariner blue definitely pops out at you.

I feel lucky and a little (just a little) cursed... LOL. We really weren't expecting anything until at least May (plus we were kinda hoping we'd be done with the snowy season by the time they came in,) and now mine is scheduled for next week and my significant other's is scheduled for the week after. We actually expected that one or both might end up not being built (both are hybrids.)

... so rather than making the huge down payments that we planned on we'll apply significantly more towards the payments (on both) for the next 6+ months.

But, again-- it's a good problem to have. I feel horrible that there are still folks out there-- like you-- that ordered 22s and still don't have a vehicle or even a build date. No, it's not fair... but it's not my fault either.

In any case, I am pretty excited to get the new truck. 😁

I hate to be the curmudgeon in the room. Mine was built 12 weeks after getting the window sticker. I really hope they changed gears on this process and have improved their supply chain… I think they’re trying to beat a supposed railroad strike.. I certainly hope they do!!!

We would actually prefer this to happen (wait 12 weeks - not the RR strike) for both of ours but fortunately/unfortunately we are still scheduled for the weeks of November 28th and December the 5th.

We’ll see what comes from this time. Hopefully they don’t have other problems.

Ok once produced it can go in and out of the body shop a couple of times for add ons like spray in bed liner etc.. before shipping.

Same here. XL Cactus Grey +360 and the 400w inverter for 11/28. Got a window sticker this week. No email yet.

Wait a minute... better call the dealer. I had put in for rear sliding window and it's not on my window sticker. Hmm...

Thankfully, as far as I know, all you need to do is replace the rear window, but that’s not a cheap replacement I’m certain. At this point I don’t think it’ll be able to be changed even if they messed up your order.

Looks like my hitch got dropped in the 22 to 23 conversion also. I should have paid closer attention. They were on there at some point, but I think dealer removed them by mistake when we were fiddling around with something and they didn't make it on to the final order. Just very frustrating since I remember going line by line with him and making sure that everything was on there, just assumed that nothing dropped in the five minutes between comparing print outs and the final order that was printed.

Both features I can probably add after market, just waaay more cost and hassle than if they were on the build order. Only thing I had planned to add after was a spray in liner.

By hitch do you mean 4k tow package, or just a ball hitch? I agree, the process was definitely more confusing than it needed to be. If Ford does future orders, they need to have servers ready to handle order loads, dealerships/order takers properly trained and verification of orders and packages made very clear. I wanted copilot 360 assist features, but didn’t realize that I would have to add Lariat, so I opted to not do so. I prefer the XLT seats.
