Being the highly skilled, mechanical guy that I am. Yes I know how to add blinker fluid and pack muffler bearings. I have began "customizing" my Maverick. Nothing real exciting here, but if you wonder how a couple items might look. Tailgate lettering and Sill Protectors both from Amazon. Before and after pics.

I really like the tail gate letters. I did the same to mine. Such a simple mod, but it makes an appreciable difference.

I love the stamped look and couldn't wait to get it. Then, I saw the fill in letters, and it changed my mind completely. I am interested in seeing the chrome finished ones.

i have tailgate letters to do this weekend, wondering if anyone used the wet method to do theirs? scares me thinking about spraying soapy water on the sticky stuff and then having the letters not stick?

There are so many options. I have seen an American flag themed one that looked cool, just not for me. And I have seen a black and white version of that too.

If you got the hard style letters and not just a sticker you are over thinking it. Just wipe the spot where each one goes with an alcohol wipe and stick it on.

The raised letters are super easy. No worries. Just wipe the indents first. They fit right in place.

Letters look very nice. Ordered mine from my Ford dealer in Nov ‘21 along with tonneau cover, received both in a week. Still no truck to put ‘em on. Happy for you, sad for me.
