Received ”YOUR VEHICLE IS SCHEDULED FOR PRODUCTION” email from Ford an hour ago. We are astounded.

2023 XLT EcoBoost, Area 51, with hitch receiver the only option added.

Order date: 9/15/2022

Production date: Week of 11/28/2022. (Although of course “Forecasting a specific build date can be complex. Sometimes unforeseen challenges occur, or the custom details of your order can add time to this estimate.”)

VIN number provided.

This was a reorder of identical truck from never-built MY2022 ordered 1/25/2022 — So we will be getting the “private offer” on the My2023 build. And the Farm Bureau discount,

Dealer gave us Priority 10 on the reorder.

So Ford is producing these but can they complete them until the new airbags come in? There are 36,000 on the road that need airbags replaced and several sitting on dealer lots waiting to get airbags before they can be sold. Im assuming this will need to be done first?

They have new airbags already for new ones built and have since July 9th. All Mavs built after July 9th didn’t get the recall.

This is insanity. My 2022 hybrid XLT order from 9/15/21 is being cancelled. And yet people who ordered way after me are getting their 2023’s- loaded with options- scheduled before I know what’s going on with my order that supposedly getting canceled at some unknown point in the future and magically getting reordered as a 2023. Absolute insanity and disregard to those of us who ordered 14 months ago or longer. @fordvideoguy , any updates on this debacle?

I agree...total bullshit !!!!! I've been waiting 13 months and in the same situation as you and many others

Bro, sorry for you. When I found out that Ford was taking the remaining unscheduled 22 orders and tossing them in with the new 23 orders, I was so pissed. I went and bought a fully loaded Tacoma as a way of protesting their dumb move. Now, I just got scheduled for my hybrid Mav, and I'm trying to figure out what to do. I'm still pissed at Ford, and the Tacoma is so bad ass that I don't want to sell it.

While the online order tracker still has my 22 VIN and I’ve received NO email from Ford, I just spoke with customer service and was told my cancelled 22 hybrid lariat lux 360 HPR now shows a build week of JANUARY 9.

This is now the 13th week I’ve been scheduled and, if built, would mean 16 months from order to receipt (in February 23).

I’m quite happy for all the others getting build weeks in November and December for 23’s but this just goes to prove one thing……

YOU STILL CANNOT BELIEVE ANYTHING FMC PUTS OUT IN THEIR DEALER MEMOS! WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR PRIORITY 2’S BEING BUILT AHEAD OF ANYTHING ELSE???

Yes, I realize they have constraints out the wazoo, but that’s been the case all year long. Nobody in their right mind can tell me that, that during the time transpiring between an August ‘22 production week being moved to a January ‘23 date (5 months), they simply could not build a hybrid lariat lux 360.

What an amazingly shitty company FMC has become.

I just received notification from 4:00 that my Maverick library loaded there was order the first day they were open it's going to be billed on December 5th and they have included a serial number this all happened with an order priority code number 10

Congrats! What NoVA dealer did you go through? I'm #6 in line for my dealer with a priority code 12, 5 of which were '22 rollovers.

Canada Order w VIN and scheduled production date
I originally placed my Eco Lariat in Dec 2021. That truck never got scheduled. Put in the order for FY23 when the Canadian Order Bank opened. Just received confirmation that I have a VIN and a scheduled production week of Nov 28.

Came as a complete shock
