Buying a used Mav

Around here that would be a steal. I have been thinking of doing the same thing, but I'm not paying the $36-37k they are asking for XL's.

I found my XL with 950 miles and right at $30,000. All other XL's were at least $5000 more and more miles. More than I wanted to pay considering I have a 23 XL on order that is coming in at $23, 690. I am more than happy though. I love the Maverick!

Do it. If you can afford it you will be glad you did. I was in the exact situation three weeks ago and found a good deal on an almost new 22 XL 2.0L. I love my Maverick that I paid over MSRP for. Not ideal but neither is the current car market new or used. It will still have its Manufacturers Warranty which is more than I can say for overpaying on a used car more than three years old.

Good for you. I just did a quick search for what's available within 500 miles of my hometown... One 22 Lariat EcoBoost with Lux & CP360, and with 9K miles on the odometer... A "bargain" at only $51,998. Yeah.... No... I'll keep waiting for a while.

Hey all been lurking for awhile here looking for tips and reading other experiences. I just missed the MY22 when I tried to order. Currently have a deposit in to order a MY23. However, I am in desperate need of a vehicle. I have found a used 22 Lariat EB with 6.7k miles for 34,500. My thought is to buy it and keep my order in for the 23 and either sell or trade the used 22.

Wow. Honestly just keep looking. I almost gave up and stumbled upon the one I found. I found a steal. It had been traded in less than a week before I saw it. Had one picture and some stock photos but I emailed the dealer to see if it was legit or just an order. I think having only 1 picture three people off. As soon they put up more pictures they got a ton of interest so I put in a deposit

The dealer I ordered from called last week to tell me they had their first used one come in if I was interested. I wasn't, but looked it up on their website. Lariat, AWD, 4k, lux, 360 without assist, white, 7,000 miles. They are wanting $45k for it. I'm sure it'll sell.
