Area 51 or Atlas Blue ?

i almost opted for area 51 when I ordered mine but went with a more traditional (and relatively boring) gray.
I see at least a dozen Bronco sports on the road each day as well as a hand full of a Broncos, and at least half of them are Area 51. It isn't all that nice of a color to begin with and now it doesn't even have a uniqueness about it. So yeah, Atlas blue all the way.

I bet you have some ideas to make that "boring" grey pop!

So very true. Ford has its moments. The mustang, the GT, the Maverick.. lol. But then they have the Edsel, the Anglia.. and so many more.. to be fair, they are evolving quite well, they allow others to make the big jumps and then ford will see who wins or loses, then bet heavy with a stacked deck.. not a bad way for a company that is as big as it is..

Hard to argue with a company that's been around for over 100 years. After all, how many other car manufacturers have fizzled out?

Alto blue easily the best blue

Thought I was the only one. My f150 is already velocity blue so I have to go different but still blue and not a big pastel fan

They do know their stuff, as I travel it’s interesting to see the way ford adapts in different countries.. but same as all companies, they lose the plot every now and again.. like the nose on the 2024 mustang.. lol. But your right. Their have been a thousand car companies come and go in Fords time, they just keep ticking along.

I do get amused at those who spit doom and gloom at Fords demise, because of this and that, it will never happen. Ford finance is a cash cow, they can lose money on every car they make as long as it sells on finance, they are fine..

I wish they had a flat gray that was an actual gray, I have seen some Honda's like that and they look very stylish.

I am Not sure I have seen the grey. Well not in real life.. the Honda Civic in grey does look good, but maybe the curves that help.

I like the Edsel.. lol. My fave car was probably the MG Maestro turbo.. it was ridiculous.. like a pacer on steroids. Ohh and check out the bond bug.. a TR7 styled reliant, kinda thing…

I was a kid in the passenger side of a Vauxhall Viva mk2, when my dad clipped the corner of a Reliant, it peeled the entire side off the Reliant, didn’t scratch the paint on the Viva. It looked like a car show cutaway.. perfect peel..

And this is the MG Maestro in red.. was the fastest production car of its time, “in a straight line”. Lol..

and the silver one, an MG Xpower, an amalgam of MG and Mangusto of Italy I think. But it couldn’t save MG.. (now owner by Saic of China).

My 2022 (In transit, and currently in Kansas City, so I should have it in a few days) is Area 51, but if I had to do it over again and my only two choices were between A51 and Atlas Blue, I would do the Atlas Blue.

thanks to the voters so far, Atlas. BLue 2 to 1 on Area 51…. Keep them coming.. ford blues are some of the best colors of any company in my opinion.

I really like the flat finish on cars lately. I lean towards neutrals with pretty much anything I buy. I’ve never seen a bright sparkly vehicle of any color and thought it looked good. Could be a $80k car and if it’s bright red-sparkly or otherwise, it immediately makes the car look cheap. Just my opinion, since this is a poll. But you should get whatever color you like. It’s your money.

It’s funny to me how the flat paints have home a thing.. some look amazing, but my brain still wants to know where the clearcote went.. but tastes differ, as Paddy said, kissing his cow.
